IT'S SUMMER! Which means we have some fun activities and events for students each week. In order to make sure these events are the most fun possible and have all of the needed supplies, please sign up ahead of time to participate.
Here is what's happening for Refuge Students in June:
- Game Day:
For students who have completed 6-9th grade. Join us from 4-6 p.m. on June 16 for a variety of games! We'll be playing a few games that combine tag, hide and seek, scavenger hunts and possibly laser tag. There will be prizes and a few take home goodies as well! Sign up online.
- Bonfire & Outdoor Movie:
For students who have completed 9-12th grade. We will have bonfires complete with s’mores and snacks as well as a big screen movie. Invite your friends and bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
- Serving Dinner at Solid Ground:
For students who have completed 9-12th grade. We will be serving dinner to the families receiving assistance from Solid Ground in WBL from 4-6:30 p.m. Meet at the church building to carpool over to Solid Ground.
- Outdoor Refuge and Kona Ice Food Truck: For students who have completed 7-12th grade and 1st year of college. Join us for Refuge outdoors from 7-9 p.m. We will kick off the night by having Kona Ice serve up snow cones from their food truck.
- Pack the Bus- Pinz Bowling:
For students who have completed 7-12th grade. We’re going to load up on a school bus and head over to Pinz to bowl in their private bowling alley. Cost is $10 per person and includes transportation, shoes and some snacks. This event is from 5-7:30 p.m.
