Don't you love movies with a twist in the story? Where there is some kind of unexpected diffuclty or challenge that you didn't see coming? When we turn to the story of Jesus, we don't often think of the cross being much of surprise. However, for Jesus' first followers, the cross was a major twist in the story. The people He spent the most time with couldn't understand His plan to die and even tried to stop HIm. Today, we will see why the cross was so confusing for the disciples and what that means for us now.
