The Colossian church was confused by some men spreading a message that there was a ‘secret’ people needed to know regarding salvation. Paul’s answer in Colossians 1:15-29 was to let them know, the opposite was true- in Jesus, the things that had been mystery since the beginning of time, are now known! And the greatest revelation was God’s reason for all these events- to create the way for our homecoming, back into his love, and life.
