WHAT IS PROJECT HOME?
Project Home is an effort by Interfaith Action of Greater St. Paul to provide emergency shelter and rapid exit case management services for area families facing homelessness. It's part of an ongoing collaborative effort of area faith communities.
In 2025, Project Home increased its capacity with the acquisition of a new facility on Bandana Blvd West in St. Paul. The facility is a former hotel that will initially meet the needs of at least 30 families and plans to expand its reach in the future. CGLC has assembled a team of ministry volunteers to respond to the different needs this move presents. Take a look at some early days at the new shelter.
OTHER WAYS TO VOLUNTEER WITH PROJECT HOME
Volunteer at Project Home
Each year, we join with our Grace Together partner schools to donate Christmas presents for the kids living at Project Home! In 2024, we sent more than 500 gifts to brighten the Christmas of children living in temporary housing. Check out our celebration video here!
Interfaith Action brings together motivated volunteers from diverse faith and spiritual communities to relieve the effects of poverty and address its root causes. We welcome individuals, families, groups, and packed houses of worship who want to work alongside our neighbors to build stability and economic mobility!
