Christmas Program Details for Grace Kids Families

Our Christmas Program this year is entitled "The Spirit of Christmas" and is scheduled for Sunday, December 15th, at both 9 & 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Kids may choose to participate in one or both service times. Kids do not need to be registered for Sunday School to participate in the program as long as they commit to practicing their parts at home and attending our Saturday rehearsal.

All families should plan to attend the rehearsal on Saturday, December 14th! Plan to arrive between 9:15-9:30 a.m. to check-in. At least one parent/guardian must stay for the duration of the practice. We do our best to dismiss kids no later than 10:30 a.m. If your family absolutely cannot make it but still wants to participate, please let us know ahead of time on your registration.

Because the 9 a.m. service tends to be more heavily attended, we always appreciate families choosing the 10:30 a.m. service or participating in both for double the fun! Please use the link below to RSVP your child(ren) for the service times they plan to participate:

Different classes have specific character roles in the program. Please download our Costuming Guide for details about your child(ren)'s role and how they should plan to dress accordingly.

ALL program participants in Preschool - 5th Grade will sing during the opening song, "The Day that Christmas Came," as well as the final song, "Manger Throne." Please click the buttons below to view videos to help your kids practice these songs. We would love for them to know the words to both songs well enough to sing along as well as knowing the motions in "Manger Throne."

Additionally, Preschool and Kindergarten students are learning the song "Someone Has a Birthday." Click below for them to practice with a recording.

Finally, our elementary students (1st-5th grade) will be onstage at the manger scene during the hymn "O Come All Ye Faithful." We would like them to sing along as much as they are able. Here is a recording of the exact version we will be singing as a congregation during the program.
