When Jesus tells parables, he engages our imaginations to see with our minds eye, and our hearts how the Kingdom of God is at work in our world today, and where that kingdom is going. When Jesus tells these ‘stories with meaning’, it takes more than our ears to hear what Jesus is telling us. It takes the engagement of the heart, and surrender to the king of that kingdom!
