Ancient Modern FaithAdvent is a time for us to receive the good news of the gospel. It should inspire us and trigger us toward action and love.
Jesus is invited to dinner at the home of a religious leader. When the invited guests arrive, Jesus has something to say about the most important invitation of all.
On the road to Emmaus, the resurrected Jesus meet up with his disciplines who do not recognize him -until he joins them at their table.
In love Jesus invites us to his table; knowing as our bodies need daily nourishment to be healthy, so a healthy spiritual life also needs daily feeding Jesus presence, grace and purpose.
How do we honor the faithfulness of the past while living generously into an unknown future? It’s about trusting Jesus Christ from the beginning to the end.
The way we manage money not only shows what we value in life but also what is of eternal value.
Jesus teaches a pair of brothers about the dangers of living a life focused on possessions instead of generosity.
Today we find Jesus is home with family - Jesus defines family not by lineage, but by love - Our mutual love and devotion for the God who first loved us becomes our family identity
When we gather together in various capacities, Jesus is at home with us, providing opportunity to respond to be in authentic community with one another
So often we are hurting, our first reaction is to hide, but when Jesus is invited into our hurt, that's when healing truly begins.
